    JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – June 4, 2015 — Florida East Coast Railway (FECR) announced today that it is expanding its intermodal rail service into Central Florida to include next-day service to Fort Pierce on weekends. Previously, FECR provided next-day service to Fort Pierce six days each week.

  • FECR Offers Added Convenience to Customers with Online Portal

    JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – May 18, 2015 – Florida East Coast Railway (FECR) today announced the launch of a new online portal, FECR Connect. The system allows customers to track freight shipments and equipment across the network. It also streamlines the process of submitting and managing shipping instructions electronically.

    The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) confirmed that Florida East Coast Railway’s (FECR) train horns meet federal regulations.  The FRA conducted its own test of FECR’s train horns using their standard protocols this week.  Federal regulations require horns
    to measure between 96 and 110 dbs. 
    Certified testing completed this week by the FRA indicated that the FECR trains horns
    were at 103.6 dbs, below the maximum 
    level of 110 dbs.
