“We were pleased to award the FEC based on the new business we brought in by working together,” says Don Jones of Norfolk Southern.
The short line received a platinum new business development award for bringing in over 1,000 carloads of new business to the rail as part of the Norfolk Southern’s “250 Squared” program. The program is designed to identify new opportunities for rail in order to provide value and additional options for shippers.
“We are honored to receive this award. Our partnership with Norfolk Southern enables us to provide competitive solutions, which allow customers to access Florida markets seamlessly and efficiently,” remarked Brad Hall, FEC Railway’s Chief Commercial Officer.
