FREIGHT CAR FERRY SERVICE FROM KEY WEST TO HAVANA. The FEC's three freight car ferries brought high grade goods in box and refrigerator cars back and forth to and from Key West and Havana until the 1935 hurricane, following which the car ferry service was moved to Port Everglades and then, after World War II, to the Port of Palm Beach.
