FEC Railway Delivers First Volkswagen Atlas

June 22, 2017JACKSONVILLE, Fla, (June 8, 2017) – Florida East Coast (FEC) Railway was recently recognized for its business initiative at Norfolk Southern’s 16th annual short-line meeting May 23rd in Norfolk, Virginia. “We were pleased to award the FEC based on the new business we brought in by working together,” says Don Jones of Norfolk Southern.
The short line received a platinum new business development award for bringing in over 1,000 carloads of new business to the rail as part of the Norfolk Southern’s “250 Squared” program. The program is designed to identify new opportunities for rail in order to provide value and additional options for shippers.
